Hello!
We are excited to announce at this time that we plan to run camps this year every week from June 29th through August 27th, and have adjusted some of the sessions and created new ones! Unfortunately, at this time we will not be offering any overnight sessions, which was always one of our favorites, but hopefully next year!
Alongside all of you, we have been following the COVID-19 situation quite closely. We understand the dilemmas that the school closures and the "stay at home" orders pose to working parents, and we have been pondering how best to help our community with child care in the current situation.
Our camp sessions will take place in the outdoors and in open areas! We plan to take advantage of our property to not only enhance learning but to also ensure adequate ventilation and provide space to spread out.
We have revamped our cleaning and sanitizing procedures to prevent transmission of the virus and feel confident that we can safely open.
We are capping enrollment at 10 campers per week to limit the risk associated with any common areas, and to maintain proper sanitation and safety protocols.
Cloth facial coverings must be worn by every individual throughout the day.
We will implement frequent and adequate hand-washing into our camp days, providing appropriate cleaning supplies throughout our facility and at key wash areas.
We will be performing fever checks each morning as campers arrive with infrared thermometers. Any camper with a temperature over 100ºF will be asked to return home immediately.
Along with temperature checks, we will be moving all of our tack, riding gear, and instructional aids from our tack-room into larger, more open areas to provide better airflow and maintain social distancing.
If anyone in your household becomes sick within 14 days of your child attending camp, please inform us so that we can advise the families of campers who were present at the same time and shut down camp.
Please do not send your child to camp if they have been exhibiting symptoms of any illness within 14 days of the start of camp.
While we are implementing an intensive cleaning policy and capping enrollment at 10 campers per week, we understand that there is an inherent risk associated with being in a social environment at this time.
We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and adapt as necessary.
We understand that finances at this time can be uncertain or strained. If your family has been financially affected by COVID-19, please let us know and we can work out a plan for payment together.
Thank you!
